Met this adorable family at a very busy park in January. Parking was near impossible to find, I think it took me 20 minutes to park! Then of course I ended up having to walk about 10 more minutes to the place where we were going to get started. It all worked out and we had a quick but beautiful session.
Eliana is such a beautiful little girl and looked like she was there to model clothes for a catalog. Well done mommy! I just adored this blue jacket she was wearing. It took her a bit to warm up to me as you can see in the next two photos, but they might also be my favorites! I personally love serious faced photos of children. It’s completely adorable and shows another side of their little personality. Before long we were down in those big fall leaves playing and giggling. She had a blast throwing them at me and once we got started I don’t think she wanted to stop!We ended up sneaking away from mommy and daddy for a bit so she would relax more and open up for the camera. She kept me on my toes throughout the session but we have gorgeous portraits to show for it. Totally worth it!
Darkness was coming FAST but we squeezed in some portrait time for Christian and Perla before we left. They are engaged and needed these for save the dates and various other wedding day details. Such a fun time! Even if you aren’t engaged, when you come for family photos I believe it is important for mommy & daddy to have their moment alone in front of the camera too. Your kids will love those photos as they get older.
